โHe has clothed me with the garments of salvation; He has covered me with the
robe of righteousness.โ (Isaiah 61:10)
โTo grant fine linen, bright and pure. For the fine linen is the righteous deeds of
the saints.โ (Revelation 19:8)
โPut off your old self and put on the new self.โ (Ephesians 4:22-24)
Jesus warns against religious patchwork: โNo one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth
on an old garment.โ (Matthew 9:16) The Gospel is not a patch. It is a complete
change of clothes.
