1) Why This Booklet

Counterfeit light is everywhere crystals, tarot, “energy work,” horoscopes, ancestor veneration, channeling, and syncretism disguised as therapy or “self-care.” This field guide equips you to leave the shadow arts, walk in truth and holiness, and help others do the same. We use Archangel Uriel as a devotional call-sign for God’s ministry of light and wisdom.

2) Who Is Uriel? (Name • Sources • Role)

• Name & meaning: Uriel “God is my light” / “Fire of God.”
• Biblical status: Uriel is not named in the Protestant canon. He appears in 1 Enoch and 2 Esdras/4 Ezra (Deuterocanonical/Apocryphal), where he conveys wisdom, revelation, and interpretation. The historic Church remembers Uriel as a signpost to God’s illuminating truth.
• Devotional emphasis: Uriel’s name reminds us that God’s light exposes lies, confers wisdom, and leads to repentance (Ps. 119:105; Jn. 8:12; Jas. 1:5).
