Christ Inc — Regenerative Agriculture

We don’t farm for optics. We restore soil, protect water, honor workers, and publish proof — so harvests and households thrive.

Summary — “Regenerative Agriculture”

Creation care starts in the soil. Extractive systems deplete life; regeneration rebuilds it with practices that increase organic matter, store water and carbon, and strengthen communities in Christ.

  • The problem: soil depletion, monocropping, chemical pollution, climate stress, and debt traps for small farmers.
  • The promise: cover crops, diverse rotations, composting, and agroforestry that restore fertility and resilience.
  • Faith & land: Sabbath for the land (Lev 25), the rebuilder call (Isa 58:12), and creation’s longing for renewal (Rom 8:19–21).
  • Church & community tools: compost ministries, CSA partnerships, prayer walks for watersheds, and stepwise transitions with soil testing.

“By feeding the soil, we feed the people.” Regeneration is worship with receipts — measured honestly and shared publicly.

GIANT WARNING — COMMON CONS, SCHEMES & GREEN LABEL THEATER

Red flags (general patterns)

  • “Regen” claims without soil tests: no baseline OM %, no yearly trend reporting.
  • Monocrop + marketing: single-crop fields rebranded as regenerative; no rotations or cover crops.
  • Compost/mulch scams: contaminated inputs (plastics/herbicide carryover) sold as “organic.”
  • Carbon-credit fog: offsets sold with no transparent methods or audits.
  • Land grabs: “pilot farms” that displace locals; no co-ops, no fair contracts.
  • Donation drives: vague “for farmers” appeals with no EIN, receipts, or public ledgers.

Protect your farm, church, and gift

  • Require soil testing + dashboards (OM %, infiltration, biodiversity notes).
  • Insist on rotations, covers, trees, and grazing plans — not just slogans.
  • Verify input suppliers and maintain chain-of-custody for amendments.
  • Prefer co-ops & staffed partners with posted EIN and itemized receipts.

We’re not naming specific operators — these are patterns so you don’t get scammed or greenwashed.

Our Regeneration Plan — Soil · Water · People · Proof

  1. Baseline truth: map fields; test soils (OM %, pH, nutrients); note erosion & water flow.
  2. Cover & rotate: multi-species covers and diverse rotations to feed soil biology.
  3. Compost & fertility: vetted compost; on-farm piles with logbooks; minimal synthetics.
  4. Trees & animals: hedgerows, windbreaks, agroforestry; holistic grazing plans.
  5. Water care: swales, ponds, drip/efficient irrigation; protect riparian buffers.
  6. Tools & training: steward teams, safety/PPE, co-op equipment sharing.
  7. Market alignment: CSA, local procurement standards, and fair contracts.
  8. Public ledger: publish costs, yields, diversion, OM trends, and lessons monthly.
  9. No Middleman Fog: dollars flow to soil, tools, trees, and people — not to vague brokers.
